Sad passing and change of clothing

The weather is downright cold today but nothing compares to the cold of Saturday morning and the sadness at the end of the night when news broke during ESPN’s Gameday College night telecast of Kentucky @ Vanderbilt as host Rece Davis announced the news of Whitney Houston passing away at age 48.  The news was stunning and extremely sad.  “I have nothing” and “heartbreak Hotel” were my favorite songs by Whitney.  When I heard “I have nothing” I developed a crush on school teacher Mrs. Dukes while I was at Quebec Heights CAMAS elementary.  When I was being isolated from students and teachers alike while attending middle school at Jacobs Center and my freshman year at Hughes I always played “Heartbreak Hotel” to make me feel better…Whitney will be missed my many fans who respected her songs and felt powerful hearing her powerful voice.
Putting a new skin on a computer is like wrapping a bus in new paint gift wrapped and ready for the road brand new…but it is not.   Speaking of skin I found 3 potatoes that went rotten so I took a photo of one of them before launching then in the garbage disposal.  Look at the growth from outer space (see below)…gross!!
Today in the cold I rode on Sorta coach 947 completed paint job looks good and the ride to Center of Cincinnati was very smooth.   The first photo of 947 was when the bus was near Center of Cincinnati Mall waiting to replace route 4 in May 2011.  The second photo was when coach 947 was being wrapped in Metro’s new paint at Hyde Park Plaza in December 2011.   On that day the coach ran well but the coach was replaced due to bed bug sightings.  When Metro buses are confirmed to have bed bug problem the seats of the coach would be replaced.  As I stepped on to coach 947 the seats weren’t replaced but the paint job was finished.  As I said before, you change your clothing or repaint something but the project remains the same.
I went into Target at Center of Cincinnati mall to buy orange juice, but when I went to the dairy section the milk, orange juice eggs and everything was cleared out for remodeling.  I was surprised about all the frozen food no longer ordered in the store until the makeover of the store would be completed in March 25, 2012.  Can’t wait to buy milk and orange juice at Target….for right now I’ll have to go next door to Meijer.  I did get one thing though, a photo of the Twilight series for viewers of my blog who are into that series as the DVD will be available for Valentine’s Day tomorrow… no offense I can’t get into Breaking Dawn or the Twilight series.
I took photo of Sorta coach 2130 at the Fairview Loop as I returned home.  The first photo of coach being at the loop was taken from my old phone.  The second one was done by 45 degree perspective on my new phone.
Rotten Potato i took photo of just outside my door on Sunday.
